What I do
I’m Rebecca Parr, an HCPC-registered Occupational Therapist and Moving & Handling Trainer specialising in complex physical needs. I am based in Leeds, England and work across the North of England.
I specialise in complex moving and handling for clients with brain injuries, spinal injuries, neurological conditions and long-term disabilities. I am frequently brought into multidisciplinary teams (MDTs) to provide expert assessment, clinical reasoning and bespoke handling plans for clients with high postural, equipment or transfer needs.
My role is to enable safe, dignified mobility while reducing risk for clients, carers and organisations. I work collaboratively with MDTs, case managers, solicitors, care providers and families to create clear, defensible and realistic handling solutions.

Specialist Occupational Therapy Assessments
I specialise in assessments for clients with complex moving and handling, seating and postural care needs, including those with high-risk mobility challenges.
Assessments may include daily living skills, mobility, seating and positioning, equipment and environmental needs. My reports provide clear, practical recommendations for care, equipment and adaptations, focused on safety, comfort and independence.
